Re: og u lock

Great work, can you explain the details that you used to get it open? How hard was it? Those locks are popping up everywhere around here, and they sell real cheap, never messed with one, but I don't think I would know what to do anyway!

Re: og u lock

thanks it was surprisingly easy i jest tensioned it and wiggled the pins back and forth with the straight side of the wrench till it opened.the key has what look like dimple cuts but there r no pins in the lock for them.

Re: og u lock

Can you get a clearer pic of that keyway or at least the key? I've seen these locks on ebay and they were disc detainers, Iif that's the case then I'd be shocked if you got it open the way you did

Re: og u lock

Ah there we go... I have a padlock similar to that, the grooves on the key are for wafers. Mine doesn't have any dimples though; are there pins where those dimples are?

Re: og u lock

Hmm, it's like a generic lazer track keyway. I thought it was a disc detainer that you were showing. Thanks for the better pictures, pretty cool lock still though.
