I too have got an Arduio and lots of toys for it, inspirational stuff.

Arf, you're getting into Keyfob's? That's a very cool area of locksmithing IMO and one that is not as popular as it should be. Having said that though, there are a lot of auto locksmiths who are into it. Cool stuff.

Yeah, but as I see it's very costly, you need a bunch of specialist equipment, and while it's usually not a huge challenge to your skills, lot of encyclopaedic knowledge is required (the methods a usually very similar but there are slight differences). Anyhow I'm new to it so I don't really have a good overview.
I found that it's not a field ideal for a hobbyist. You don't get too many cars to play with hahaha.
But if you have a lockie friend who does it, it's interesting. Any anyways I'm mostly in it to learn more about electronics and the related security.
