in Komokos video description he states ".078 music wire so 14 or 15 gauge will work fine"

this gave me an awesome idea for a BOK wrench; get some InstaMorph - Moldable Plastic, jam it in the bottom of a keyway, let it dry, use it as a reference to make grooves in the music wire so the wrench fits perfectly in my schlage c keyway lock. once made, the tension wrench only fits in one way, and can be used for clockwise, or counterclockwise tensioning with no movement of the wrench, and no binding!

oh... it's on now!!! :soldier: :soldier: :soldier:

Edit... duh... forget the instamorph. you can just use the key for whatever lock you make it for. gonna try this. making side grooves like a key is gonna be a bitch though with a dremel.

If you can't get music wire I have used stainless bike spokes with good results. It turns out a nice wrench and is much more sturdy than coat hanger steel.

Ace is listed on the K&S website but my local one only small pieces of brass and aluminum tube/sheet. The 3 people who greeted me also had no idea what music wire was. I would suggest calling before you go.

I got 15 pieces of .078 music wire on ebay, 3ft each. If anyone wants a piece or two, I can cut them down so they can be mailed much easier.
Let me know
