Found in a chunk of steel .....

I was filing away at a chunk of steel today and found this inside it .....

To pick the right gun, go south young man .......

No Sir, only the swinging arm. The needle and needle clamp came from the Klom spare parts kit. The small ball race came from my workshop stock. The arm I just cut and filed to shape. Tapping the bearing hole was exciting, as I wanted a deep tapped hole but not a broken tap. Did I do or say something wrong ?.

One finished swing arm pick gun mechanism. Needle swing adjustable between 0 - 9.0 mm. 3 volt motor.
