Gemii Magnetic Padlock

So one of these Gemii magnetic padlocks arrived this morning in the mail. Probably a few of you out there have one. They are actually pretty neat, and I'll be sure to post pictures soon.

From what I've gathered the key is made up of four magnets ordered to match the lock. Here is the patent: http://www.google.com/patents?id=FGQ8AA ... &q&f=false

Since each of the four magnets have six different positions possible, there are 6^4 possible keys, or 1,296.

Re: Gemii Magnetic Padlock

It's a pretty interesting lock, I gotta keep an eye peeled on ebay to get one just for the novelty of it. Kinda like I did with the LsL lock with the round key.
