safe id help

anyone know what this is. the add says s&g . so i know it has s&g lock. looks little like pittsburg but the corners dont seem right... i really like it thinking of buying it at 350 bucks...

It's a pretty cool looking safe, but no way it's from 1800. I'm not sure how they came up with that information. S&G didn't organize as a company until 1865 according to their website. Still, it's kind of cool looking. Looks pretty heavy! The dial looks a bit crusty on the bottom. Does it have a working combination?

I can't ID it though. I'll leave that to the experts on here.

It's being sold by jesus your not calling Jesus a Lier are you ? Just kidding. The dial could be newer but 1800 was likely pulled straight from the ass .

I am guessing he got the date. from patent dates on the dial which led. Him to believe 1800 as well as the s g. Info it looks like a Pittsburgh special. But its not exactly right. Would be cool to have a lock that is no. Longer made
