Interresting idea

Don't know if this is the right forum but I think this is a neat idea that could be modified in a number of ways to make a fairly good strong box. Good quality lock, thicker steel, different shape or size etc.

For a mechanic or other metal worker it should be no problem and might suit scudo's storage problem :D

Cheers.

Re: Interresting idea

it IS interesting. I think it's starting to LOOK like a safe...and once identified as a safe the probability of valuables increases and it gains attention. I'd like to see it look more like some worn, redneck rigged spare tire holder.

That's a neat idea!
Seems pretty well made and could be made thicker and more secure for sure.
I don't quite see the point of carrying a safe in my trunk though.

Re: Interresting idea

I was just posting that it was an interesting idea - a start - not necessarily for a car but for building on, turning the idea into something else using the basic principle.

It could be built into a house, disguised as something else etc. etc.

Not necessarily circular.

I'm sure you get the idea.

Re: Interresting idea

So your thinking along the lines of the false plug outlet but bigger and with a safe dial?
its a cool idea, if I think up something I will let you know.

Re: Interresting idea

Very cool idea. It would be useful to have something like this when you rent a car and go to the beach... it's the perfect place for your passport and spare cash.

Cheers :)

Re: Interresting idea

Especially like the high-security wafer lock. :-)

A good idea, though.
