Safe dial screws

Quick question-I'm working on a couple safe lock displays made of acrylic, but the safe locks I have don't have screws with them so I'm not sure what size I should drill and tap the dial ring screws. I want them to be to specs, like a safe would be. Any help is appreciated. I'll post pictures when I'm done
Re: Safe dial screws
If they do not come with screws, just get some that will fit.

Re: Safe dial screws
"...drill and tap four holes for the attaching screws (1⁄4" X 20 or M6 for metric applications)."
Now correct me if I am wrong, but that means 1/4" in diameter and 20 threads per inch.
Found that under Installation Notes on page 2

Re: Safe dial screws
1/4" OUTSIDE diameter. Need to have a drill slightly smaller, or there will be no threads.

Re: Safe dial screws
A 13/64'' drill would be good for that.

Thanks for the help, but I think you are looking at the instructions for mounting the lock body, they are 1/4-20. I ended up using 3/16'' screws because I had the tap and screws handy.
When I was looking for how to hand the lock, I found this document that says they use 8-32 machine screws

Why is that? I wasnt able to find any documentation on what size screws it uses
Re: Safe dial screws
"This commenter" being me, flywheel. I didn't read and comprehend that you were looking for dial screws. Instead I focused on "safe lock" and looked for those screws.
The remark was meant to be a self-deprecating "duh!" and not an insult towards you.
