Temporary marking free spinning numbers tip

I hadn't seen this done, but found it really helpful when free spinning.
Take a sticky note and color (if you have different colored sticky notes even better) areas where the sticky part is.
Cut narrow slits there.

When you find a gate or a number to investigate further pull a sliver off and put it on that number.

It really helps to spin the number of times you want and to stop on that number and cuts down time.
