Hey guys, thanks for the support and encouragement! I'll post pics here in a few minutes of how I did it, and what I learned.

When the fence dropped in and the bolt went back, it was incredible!

Next post on this thread will have pics and an explanation of what I did, in a few minutes.

Re: Time for the PhoneMan to try manipulation!

Ok, I cheated a bit! I was having difficulties with the graphing, I had a number at around 25, and that proved to be right, but I got a bit frustrated and decided to drill a small hole in order to see the combo change hole.

Change hole:
IMG_0016.JPG

SO upon figuring out the last number (50), and realizing the warranty sticker was still over the hole (I scraped it off), Squelchtone said try some basic combos, as it was likely never changed. I could see a gate on wheel 2 with 30 on the change mark, (was trying 10, 20, 30, and looking in the hole) and realized the gate was opposite the square change mechanism on that wheel, so I tried 80, and realised that was the second number.

Remembering I'd graphed a gate around 20-25, I started there for wheel one and saw the edge of the change mechanism with wheel 1 on 20, advancing it forward bit by bit revealed it was at 23. Now time for the REAL test, dialing it in! going L-R-L, 23-80-50, turning back to 0 with baited breath, and CLUNK, the fence drops and the bolt retracts! Woohoo! Now I'm going to have my GF set my floor safe lid to an unknown combo, and try on something I don't feel rushed on.
Now just need to order a change key, change the combo, and I'll be set!

Here's a pic of the back of the lock, (a 6700 series) and the boltwork:

PS, what would be a good way to repair that hole? A friend of mine could probably weld over it, or I could put a carriage bolt in there. Is there a preffered method?
