And neither does 50-25-50 which is the default. I have tried every combination that may have been set a number off of the two combos above with no luck. I have an X07 I was wanting to replace the 302 lock with. I read here they can be manually manipulated by a good safecraker of which I am not. I really don't want it drilled out. Would anyone want to take the challenge of trying to opem it manually? I live in Niceville Florida. If you open it you can have the old 302 lock.

Welcome to the forum Johnny. I hope you find someone that can help. I'm not only too far away... I'd be of no help as I'm not familiar with the process of manipulating these. Though I too have been told and read that there is indeed a valid way/technique.

It's right in front of me and I'm STILL having trouble determining a few of the numbers. Hope it's all correct.

p.s. I see fuckitbucket is up to its old dirty tricks again :D This time I think their new scheme is here to stay tho. lol

Hm. None of the patent have to do with this lock. The last two are not even related to safe and lock stuff.

Re: Mosler 302

Droshi's method to manipulate a MK-302 does indeed work. I think with the right strategy it should be open in well below 3 hours.

Re: Mosler 302

Don't try to find the true gate by manipulation. Just do a brute force of all possible gate combinations after you determined the false gate centers. With my dialing speed it takes from then worst case 80 minutes with an opening guarantee.

Re: Mosler 302

I didn't think there were false gates on these. I haven't manipulated one yet, but by droshi's derscription it sounds like there is no CP feel until wheel 3's gate is found first, then the other wheels are found in conventional manner using wheel 3s gate as the gateway in to the wheel pack for CP reading. Is this incorrect?

Re: Mosler 302

I can get a CP in my MR-302 in all situations, but when W3 is wrong the CP is about one number higher. In The National Locksmith Guide to Manipulation is a chapter about the CD-302. The wheels are 16-sided. There might be an additional of 16 tiny false gates, but I don't see them in any graph.

Got a Mosler Class 6 field safe. 100lbs. I think the previous (deceased?) owner painted it in black and gold and stored dope inside.

Re: Mosler 302

This isn't really a reply, as such, more of a cry for help. I and a friend have eight (8) Mosler GSA SF C-5 security file safes. We got them for a song ($50 ea) at a local auction house where they had been consigned by the Boeing Corp. All the combos had been set to the 50-25-50 delivery setting, so we can open them. The problem is that these cabinets are GSA Black Label (i.e., pre-1989 security specification, the newer ones being Red Label). As a result, finding the specific combination reset key (that little L-shaped gizmo) is eluding me. I found a guy offering Mosler keys on eBay, but they were the wrong design. He informed me, when I sent him a photo of the sticker on the backside of the drawer head, that shows what the key looks like, that I needed a 302 key. That's what the other sticker, the Parts List, stated as well.

Does anyone out there know where I can get a 302 reset key? Of course, Mosler when Chapter 11 in 2001...no help there. I have photos of the key sticker, parts list, Patent Nos.

Re: Mosler 302

I'm fairly new at this but I noticed the other day that the Keedex K-18 change key set listed MOS 302 as one of the keys.
Research it, I am not sure if that is correct for what you need.

Hope that helps.
