Here's Huxleypigs thread on his pick.

AFAIK Technical Entry is supposedly an "engineering company" and training facility for security specialists which also has a retail division. Their site is locked out unless you have credentials.

Thank you! I understand now.

Yes, I think safeventura's prices are high. For RKL tool they ask 2500 pounds.

Old thread, sorry about that, but didn't see any point in opening a new one.

Yeah, the tool works, takes about 45-60 minutes to open the lock and is basically a form & decode type tool in which you set the lock to a known state and measure how far it opens.

The tool is no longer made, so I'm looking for anyone having the PDF instructions on using the tool, as I have lost my copy due to a hard dics failure :(

Got any detailed information on the RKL10? All I've seen is Han Fey's short expose.

This lock has been NDE'able for quite a while. I've seen two tools for it in fact. Cool lock still, I'd trust it :-)

Safe Ventures never ripped my Abloy design off by the way, I don't want that getting banded around. At first I thought something was up but as it turns out, their tool had existed before mine, it was just classified (hence me having no knowledge of it). My tool is a big reason it became de-classified though.

One of them was made buy a guy in the UK a few years ago which I am pretty sure was imitated by the Technical Entry tool that Jaakko spoke about above. The other thing I can't really go into, sorry. But hey, get one, open it up, it is possible, there is hope!
