Nice dude, where did you acquire that guy?
Naaapaalm...sticks to kids...it sticks to the belly and it sticks to the ribs...
See those kids standing by the lake...drop some napalm and watch them bake.

I got it on craigs list. It's a victor safe 1895-1910.I think according to the lady I bought it from.I've learned a lot from it.

Hi Spanky,

Very nice pictures of the victor safe. I have one also I think the physical features are about the same as in your photos. On the one I have the dial only goes to 65, and I do not have the combination. I would appreciate any information you can give me. I'm not sure how to place any pictures to show you what I have.
Thanks Orbitman

Re: Some of my safe pics

Safes of that vintage often will open if vibrated as the wheels are not balanced. Being lighter on the top where the gate is.

There are many accounts of safes on ocean liners from that era that have opened themselves from the engine vibrations.

An old trick to open these safes is to vibrate them with a cement vibrator or similar vibrating tool.

Cheers.

Not long ago, Andrew made a nice how-to on posting pics (if/when you decide to put something up for our viewing pleasure) :)

If you don't want to use the forum to post your pics, the other option would be to create an account with one of the many
image hosting sites (ie photobucket). If I could start over though, I'd look into something other than photobucket though.
imo... it's become more of a cluster-fucked version of facebook and has etirely lost sight of its' sole purpose. Ridiculous.
