Safe carpet

Made it fit. Not the nicest carpet, but ok for now. Will keep my eyes open for a better one.

You don't want the consumer stuff, but you can go to your local carpet store and ask for commercial samples of what they put into office buildings. You might get lucky and get several samples from Mohawk or Shaw that can be cut to size for each shelf. It is easy to cut to size with a razor blade.
