Due to popular demand, I started a series of tutorial videos on youtube on safecracking. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... W656EOVXzl for those interested. Two videos out so far with more coming fast.

EDIT: Just so people are aware, I was previously known as Daggers here for the past 8 years or so.

Howdy,
Great to see you active again. Have you made any progress with the 2M locks?

I haven't made much progress so far, I've only got one 2M lock which someone sent me years ago. I'm haven't even been able to mount it unfortunately. I have never seen a lock which is put together in such a way lol It's got a super long square spline and no threading and it's not attached to the dial. The dial doesn't come out of the dial ring. I was told it was a LaGard 3332 however it definitely doesn't seem like any LaGard 3332 I've seen. Although I do have a LaGard 1985 group 1 which is the same as the 2M 3332. I am working on cracking it and think I have a viable method. However, I am running into some technical issues with carrying out the processs.

Thanks for the youtube series!!

Has helped me a ton. Really wanting to learn more about faster methods. Ditched graphing and only amplifying gate signatures. Any advice with advanced methods or where an enthusiast, I am not a certified lockamith, can read or watch and learn more?

Thanks again

Wheel isolation is what I use the most. Moving only one wheel at a time instead of the whole wheel pack means you don't have to do high low tests. You find both the number and the wheel it's on at the same time. My book https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B89g6z ... sp=sharing has more information on it and it's covered in the youtube series as well, in part 7 I believe. Also, I responded to your pm with this information :)

Many thanks to you, brother! I was having some difficulty figuring out the H/L tests after graphing. What seems "simple" now with placing the wheels and direction was for some reason really difficult to comprehend in plain text. Your video helped immensely!

A few tips I picked up after working 30+ hours on this safe I picked up last week with a S&G 6700 series lock.

- The safe is a floor model and I think sat with the lock horizontally for most of it's life. The dial has a lot of resistance when it's set up vertically, and I think that extra resistance and irregularity in the wheel shapes caused me to misread some tension close to the contact points as the contact point itself. The tip here is that I can clearly feel (and hear, with amplification) the contact when it's made, and the graph clearly shows the difference when a gate is under the fence. But, if I rely on those subtle "touch" differences around the dial, I was stopping before I touched the contact points.

- Obviously somebody changed the combo on this safe before I got it. The final combo was 6-70-5. My contact points are 7.6/13.3 or so, so two of the numbers are really close to the 7.6 (right? left? I'm still unsure, LOL) contact point. Worse, the last dialed number is inside the "forbidden" zone, so I wasn't even testing that on W3. Lesson learned - Damn the "forbidden zone" to hell! Somebody set the last number in the zone. Also, because I thought I found a good gate at "12" (probably the nose/cam) I didn't actually work my way down to 5-6-7 to check the contact points when going AWR. Oops, I missed my gate because I didn't look for it. Tip: FINISH YOUR GRAPH, even if you think you found a good gate earlier.

Great job!! Thanks again! I'm going to make a new post with my safe and graphs, maybe it will help.

The videos are nice and very clear. I'm on the lookout for a lock and can't wait to try your instructions myself.
