What is the jumper on an ESL10?

What is this connector on an ESL10? I'm assuming you can move that jumper around to configure it somehow, but haven't found any information about it online.

They use the circuit boards for a few different lock configurations. When they are used in a Safe Wizard 1 configuration they will not have the chord and will instead use that connector. I assume the jumper is necessary to get the board to use the chord instead.

Thanks. I looked up a picture of a SafeWizard, and it came with locks without the little black jumper and without the wire coming out the back (but still having the hole where the wire would go). So this makes sense then. So many different configurations! Looks like EslAudit uses yet another connector, where there is an ethernet-looking socket on the lock.
