I would like to know what spindle threadings were used.
I do know:
5/16"x40: Current standard threading used by S&G, LaGard, Lebtig locks in magic module format
3/8"x30: S&G vault locks, Chubb 7Lxx (vault size and magic module)
M9x0.75: Kromer locks in vault format (15B, 3011, 3012, 3055)
M10x1: Bode-Panzer locks in a format slightly larger than magic module
Anything else?

The 3/8"x30TPI thread was also used on the S&G 8400 series Centispline dials.

Do you mean these dials?
https://time-master.com/products/SGD041-010This web shop says 5/16 and I found no other information.

It looks like Time Masters has an error in their web page.
D041 spy proof and D037 front read dials used with the S&G 8400 series locks were 3/8-40. A 5/16 dial wouldnt leave enough room for the centi-spline shaft.
http://www.lockmasters.com/sg-8400-seri ... le-sgd41bwThe Lockmasters site shown above is correct.
The Sargent and Greenleaf site used to show good technical details but that all changed after the yellow place took over..
Also I remember Molser using a 1/4"-28 TPI on the 302 locks that were on GSA containers.

Thanks. Makes sense to make a hollow spindle thicker.

MartinHewitt,
Something interesting I ran across the other night that I didn't know was a thing. A spindle extension kit to make spindles longer:
http://www.lockmasters.com/sg-mechanica ... -sg7312505 As you can see from the product photo, it is a simple thing, a threded piece both spindles go into and some spline keys without flags to make sure the spindles dont come undone. SImple but clever.

The spindle extensions are in the S&G catalog for standard and vault spindles.
