Saga becomes Sentry

Good friend gets a Saga 1145 from his neighbor for free. Neighbor had attempted to drill from what he saw on YouTube. Sort of did it half-ass correct but didn't angle in. I finished what the neighbor had started. After plugging the oversize hole, I needed a new face plate to cover the repair. My 'I might need this someday' parts bin had just what I needed. I had to remove some material from the face plate . A hole had to be made for the lock cylinder. Hand filed the key. Pics show how the Saga now is a Sentry. My friend now has a usable safe for his paperwork.

Nice repair. I bet your friend will be pleased. Also wondering, what else is in your "Might need it someday bin".?

Don't think you could've made any more out of that than you did!

Really nice job. No doubt he'll be happy & get some use out of it.

I've got some Diebold, S&G, LaGard, and Sentry dials with spindles, variety of locking bolts, a handful of S&G, LaGard locks and lots of Sentry wheels. A couple small safe doors and a few, heavily guarded spline keys along with miscellaneous parts.

OLDFAST: I tried to use every inch of the faceplate that I could.
