'RE-PINNING' renewing the challenge of a safelock
If you want a new challenge from the same lock,it is possible to create a brand new and un-predictable challenge experience, both by re-combinating the locks combination code itself, but also by swapping the wheel packs around within the lock itself, so for example if the combination code was (wheel 1s number) 36-(wheel 2s number)- 75-(wheel 3s number)- 44, if you swap the wheel packs around so the combination is then 44-36-75, created purely by interchanging the packs, and running through the manipulation process again, but then an interesting experiment in the process is to leave the wheel packs to their altered positions, and then recombinate the lock to its original combination code but putting the combination numbers onto the wheel packs as they sit in the lock (ie use the key to alter the wheel packs relationships with the flys and reposition the code from what would (in our example)- be 44-36-75, back to the original combination code of 36-75-44, and by doing so in practice for all intents and purposes you have created a brand new lock that will be indicating differently than the original one, owing to the differences in the faults of the wheel packs
