I do have here a safe with this bolt work and can't find anything online. I would like to know what the purpose of the complex looking mechanic (the levers with the springs) is and how it works with two locks.

Just the main section because the safe is still in use.

It looks like one blocks the boltwork for each lock. Like a bicentric padlock that requires two keys to operate.

The left lever seems to test the unlocked state of the bottom (not installed) lock when it is pushed on the top to the left. But as there is nothing protruding there apparently is nothing to interact with this tip. Perhaps for a single lock installation some parts (or at least one part) is removed? Guess I have to open the door again to understand this. And even then I am not sure because of the possibility of missing parts. It would really be easier if somebody knew this bolt work.

Ok, had a look. The only possible function of the left lever is to detect if the bottom lock is present or not. With lock it is turned counter clockwise so that. At the moment this does not interact with anything, which is probably good. I can only imagine, that there is a part missing, probably something which can slide in the curved slot and interacts with the disk behind the slot. There is a cut in this disk, which is in the open position at the top. In the closed position this cut is partly below the horizontal part of the slot. But how this part would look and work in detail?

I really do not understand this. The only thing preventing the usage of a second lock is the outer sheet of the safe. Everywhere else is the opening for the key. Even the cover where the handle is located has the opening. But this opening is covered by the handle if the safe is closed. To unlock the second lock the handle would need to be turned a bit, which is not possible with a locked lock. Perhaps this safe model needs a different handle for two locks?
