best safe locks for beginners

this might be a tired old question but a recent diagnosis of early stage arthritis finds me having to abandon picking hi-sec locks. my hands get sore pretty quick. safes on the other hand seem exciting and having much larger things to manipulate (a dial) i think this would be where i want to go.

i can hack or bypass my way through nearly any commercial "combo-padlock" so i'm not looking for those, but would like recommendations on safe locks. i was thinking a S&G 6741 might be a cool start. are there any others?

thx,

Re: best safe locks for beginners

S&G is pretty much the best beginner lock. This is because of better tolerances.

I have a couple with Liberty badged dials for a decent price if you are interested.
