Little tool for electronic combo locks

Here is a link to a little tool i've made for electronic combination locks.
If you know the length of the code , and what numbers are used (worn buttons are obvious) , this app will generate all possible permutations with these numbers.
It's made in html/css/javascript , so anyone can use it anywhere without installing anything , even on your phone. Also you can print out the output.
It's uploaded to a free webhosting service , so it may disappear at any time.
I will most likely make an adroid version in the near future.

I hope someone can make use of it.

I haven't used Firefox for years , so didn't think to test that , oops
Turns out Firefox handles events in javascript differently than Chrome or IE.
It works now.
While i was at it , i also changed the css so it looks like it should in Safari.

Are you working on a version that will handle 5 and 6-digit codes?

There is a number input at the top of the page where you can set the length of the code. You can set it to whatever you want , but it slows down considerably when it's over 6. I made it default to 4 because that is the most common.

I have a bunch of these at work. It sucks remembering a dozen or so codes that change all the time.

What brands are better than others? Anyone knowledgeable with these? Thought about installing one on the house, but they still use a key also.

Great job! One question though, with so many variables how do you go about all the different combinations? Saw if you put in 4 numbers it gave 26 different possibilities. now keeping track of the numbers you had not tried yet would be most challenging.plus they usually time out after a couple of missed attempts.

I added a feature that if you click on any of the output , it will draw a line through that one. That will let you keep track.
