Sunday, after I shoved the little kids out of my way while I looked for Easter goodies, I got on MPLS CL and found this free safe which was located in a SW Mpls suburb. The ad had been posted 44 minutes prior. I called my son, who got laid off the Friday before, and he called the owner and arranged to get the safe today, before noon. The owner was flipping a house and wanted the safe gone. Safe was in the basement and needed to be moved up 7 steps and out into the garage. Easier said than done but after a lot of grunting we got it done with the help of my 8' heavy duty rollers. Used the rollers again to get the safe into the truck bed and out again at home. Safe weighs 450+ lbs. We took the door off before doing any moving. The lock is a Mosler B-6 mounted RH, with driver in front. The octagon handle is missing. I'll check my parts buckets for one. I f nothing else, I can use a large carriage bolt as a handle. OLDFAST, GORDON, et al, I know you got the magnifiers out to get the combo. It has been changed.
