Deposit safe

Got this today from an on-line auction. The lock is an Ilco-Unican P67, similar to the S&G 6730. The screwdriver points to the spring loaded external relocker. There was no combo when bought but has one now.

Re: Deposit safe

There were 2 deposit safes on the auction. Both were the same size but 1 was dual key-op. The safe I got was listed as 'locked open, no combo'. The key-op safe (with keys) sold for $21 more than the combo lock safe.

Another nice find. I like that one.

Never thought to ask - you refurbish/resell some of your safe finds? Collect? Little of both?

Yes, refurbish/resell. My goal is to put them back in better shape than what I got them as. I do collect but I like the smaller Meilink's and Victor's. 15" and less, but I still do not have any salesman sample. Someday......

Re: Deposit safe

Perfect. Everyone wins. You turn a dollar and gain experience while the world
gets to enjoy the safes that have had their life extended because of your TLC.
(and keep some of the collectors for yourself that ya find along the way) NICE.
