I think my 6642 is showing this slop behavior. Wanted to identify the wheel at 92.5 which I got with a scan of R/R/L65. L100/R92.5/L65 made the indication jump up, i.e. indicating that it was indeed wheel 1 where the gate was. R100/R92.5/L65 did not modify the indication, i.e. hinting that it was wheel 2 with the gate at 92.5. And from further dialing it was indeed wheel 2. Also the look of L/L/L and R/R/L65 was quite different. The second scan was partly higher than the first scan even so there the biggest wheel was optimized.
The lock is not yet open and I haven't added my working time so far, but I believe I will be below four hours. Not sure by how much. Tried first something Oldfast suggested here the last days: Quick scan for a low point, than scan w3 with w1&w2 at the low point. This was a waste of time on this lock. There was no significant valley visible. Continued then with a full AWL. This showed a narrow low point at 0 which I believe not to be a gate. The graph of the right contact point is without much variation unlike with my 6730. The left contact point is even flatter, so that I stopped graphing it after some time.
