Howdy gents. I do most of my posting at uklocksport but have recently got interested in having a shot at combination lock manipulation.

Posting on this will get you banned over there, but am I ok to post videos / pics / ask for advice on this board? Are there any subjects I need to stay away from (apart from forced entry, obviously)?

Thanks in advance,

Michael Maynard.

Nope, feel free to post your questions and ask for help. We are pretty open here.

Destructive entry is obviously off limits and some may be wary of newer members given your area of interest, but we are generally a welcoming group of folks.

Yeah, you won't really catch much if any flack around here. I know I certainly didn't.

With that said, I still think it's important to do your homework.

If I had just come on here and said, "Hi, Tell me how to open safe locks." there might have been some questions... Though chances are around here I'm sure I still would have been pointed in the right direction.

On the other hand, if you search around on here you'll find there is already all the information you would ever need. Further, there's much much more out in googleopolis. Occasionally you might come across a title of a printed book... Which generally you'll be able to search the googleopolis for a .pdf version... Worse case scenario ScribD (aka Library of the Universe) should have it.

Once you do a little reading and research you'll find that asking questions, any questions at all won't raise any questionable looks since you'll already know what you're talking about. LOL.

Thanks guys.

Nailing some 3 wheel locks is one of my 2017 goals so have quietly been bidding on locks / cutaways / books over the last few weeks. I'm in New Zealand and there isn't exactly a plethora of this stuff for sale down here, so have been cherry picking the better stuff to make postage worthwhile. Have built up quite a pdf library on this stuff over the last few weeks too and have honestly been surprised how much is out there - not that I'd ever looked for it at all before.

On that note if any of you have old stuff you've outgrown or lost interest in, I'm very happy to buy it - either comment here or pm me.

Michael.
