original safe from joseph brooke & sons

Had a look at this today - joseph brooke - Hard York nonslip stone comp
Turns out this safe belonged to the worlds largest supplier of road and building materials in the 1930s
possibly sold in 1969 when the firm closed - very interesting history they had there own steam train - railroad tracks
Locksmiths have tried to open this prior - more damage than anything drilled key hole - cut the handle off to drill spindle
And still did not open it - weird Took some pics on the phone will post up in a bit - strange lock not deep possible 6 levers - only there 10 mins to see the old girl - bad state indeed some one wrote or scribed in door DEED 4 NO CUME IN,S :soldier:
