Hi
I am working on this Cash guard safe.
First, there is a strange click at 99. it is always there on each rotation. Gates are at 4 to 14

Second , It is throwing the first manipulation on Wheel 1 on first graph. I was expecting it to give W3 first. Also, the graph over the gate is erratic +/- 1/4 on each step from 4 to 14

it is really giving me hard time in W2 W3 Left in second graph the RCP is always flat at 14. anyone has experience with Cashguards . It has an S&G but not sure what model

any guidance on how to test W2 W3 with W1 found first graph.
Also any idea on which way the bolt is oriented? vertical down or horizontal left?

Contact points @4 and 14 would put it at the RH on the spindle. Have you tried All Wheels in the opposite direction? For W2 and W3 try graphing 1@# and 2,3 AR or 1,2@# and 3 AR. Nice looking safe BTW.

Would think that contact points would be at 4 & 14 no matter which direction the lock is mounted. When I mount the lock, I shim it so the drop-zone is at zero. Was told that is the proper way to do it, since different safes will have different thickness of doors.

However, it probably is mounted RH.

Id think the strange contact at 99 would be a bent dial

And given that ive never seen a factory fitted handle stick out
Towards the opening edge
And the marks on the handle look like a pipe wrench has been used on it

At a guess id say it may have been mistreated

All cash guards i ahve seen in locked position. Handle is pointed towards 9 o clock. i did not see any damage on the handle.
